Explosive Demolition of St John General Hospital in Montreal, Canada

This old hospital was built on the top of the hill, supported by the piers which had to be preserved. Implosion site was surrounded by residential buildings and shops. The building was imploded within the contracted time and budget, to the client’s satisfaction, and without any change orders. Zero damage to adjacent structures and utilities, no safety incidents.
